Area 2 Lake Jesup Area
Lake Jesup is well known as one of the hot spots for spotting alligators, but it is also surrounded by excellent parks. On the west end Spring Hammock Park has sports and single track biking. The Cross Seminole Trail cuts right through the park making it accessible by bike, and if you are adventurous there are some rarely traveled trails there to explore. The entire flood plain north of the Lake is all public land with multiple access points (split by the 417). At the north end of Elm Street, south of the lake is the Black Hammock and the Black Hammock Wilderness area, which with a little riding connects to trailheads at the east end of Howard Ave leads you into more trails, and heading south connects by trail to the Little Big Econ State Forest. You can spend weeks exploring the trail network in this area.

Map 2 (location of boat ramps) |
Lake Jesup offers some interesting places to explore, but for this one you will have a true challenge. The tower in Lake Jesup conservation area gives a great view of the water, but it is hard to spot from the water. You must do just this and get a picture of the tower in the background from the water in Lake Jesup |

Map 3 | Lake Jesup Wilderness Park on the north side of the lake, besides offering a boat ramp, also has some really cool trails. You will get to show off your navigation abilities by finding the location shown in the picture below and taking a picture of each team-mate running down this trail. |

Map 4 | Of course we are heading to Soldiers Creek Park and the short single track trails there. Along this route you will find a section where you go through a half-hollowed out log, this is where you must take a picture of each rider riding through this obstacle. |
