Navi-Gator Rogaine: 4 and 8 hour competition rules.
ROGAINE – Rugged Outdoor Group Activity Involving Navigation and Endurance.
You have a time limit in which to visit as many checkpoints as possible (in this case on foot) either as a team or solo. These checkpoints are at various locations on a map and may have differing point values based on distance and difficulty. The exact strategy used to visit these checkpoints is completely up to the competitor.
This will not help you grow more hair.
Here are some specifics to this event.
- 8 hour start at 8 am, must finish by 4. So to get all 8 hours of competition you will want to be at the mass 8 AM start.
- All participants MUST finish by 4 PM
- 4 hour start is open between 9 am and 1 pm but must finish by 4. (Which means you want to start prior to noon).
If you have questions about Rogaine or preparing for this type of event we encourage you to visit the Florida Adventure Racing Page at https://www.facebook.com/groups/FloridaAdventureRacing/ to as questions. There are plenty of helpful adventure racers there willing to answer any and all questions (including the race directors)
