| Checkpoint | Location | Instructions |
| PaddleCP1 | Map 1Map 2(Maps below) | At the southwest end of Tick Island there is a little inlet leading to a couple of shacks. Across the inlet is a fence with a do not enter sign. Take a picture of your team in the boats with this sign visible. You can put in boats at the boat launch in Deleon Springs State Park or even rent a canoe at this location. |
| BikeCP2 | Map 3 | Chuck Lennon bike trails are some of the best biking around, all the trails lead to a central location within the trail network called “The Hub”. Take a picture of each team-mate at the hub with both their bike and the hub sign visible. Map shows the location of the Chuck Lennon Bike trails parking and trail-head. |
| FootCP3 | Map 4 | The Persimmon trail is a wonderful hiking trail accessible in Deleon Springs State Park. The bench is a great place to stop and look around – the bench shown in the picture is pretty obvious based on the intersection and exit sign. Take a picture of each team-mate on this bench. |
